RunChi
Well we safely arrived last night in Chicago after a two hour delay and long ride from O'Hare. Today we hit the check-in and marathon expo...I purchased a few items, carb loaded, water loaded, the whole shazam. Currently, it's nearing eight and we're exhausted, even though we've done very little today. Getting a bit nervous and they're calling for snow tomorrow, guess we'll wait and see. Tonight we rest and tomorrow we run! Looking forward to telling you more after 26.2 miles. By the way, we're staying at a fairly sweet pad that you can see below...been a great experience thus far and I love mingling in the running culture every chance I get, even met a few people from back home!

I am not sure if I have commented on your blog before, so if not, hello from Colorado! Lucas and I both regularly read your blog. Anyway, congratulations on the marathon! I have always wanted to run Chicago.
2 things:
1. That hotel room looks very similar to the style of one Lucas and I stayed in when we were in Chicago for spring break..did you stay at Hotel Allegro?
2. You should consider running the new Denver Marathon (little plug here...). I was on the planning committee this year and I highly recommend it. We had Dave McGillivray (Boston director) on board, along with his staff, so a lot of expertise went into the planning. Plus, it is a beautiful course!
yo. look for my cousin. she is there i believe.... her name is michelle coleman. tell her i said hi. haha just kidding i dont' think you can find her... but if so... do. that would be funny. funnier than you not having made my banner, that's for sure. :P
juuuuuuuust kidding :)
hey, good to know there are a couple truman grads in boston! you know, one day this summer, i thought i saw a guy that looked like you at blue ribbon barbeque, in arlington, but it was busy and i didn't get a good look. anyway, pretty funny that we might have bumped into each other!
