Red Sox ~ Yankees Tonight
My best friend Phil is in town until tomorrow and, thanks to some awesome help from the parents, we are going to the Boston / New York game tonight! It will be freakin' awesome!! We're sitting in the bleacher seats but in my opinion there isn't a bad seat in the house and the bleachers are the best place if you want the true "Boston crowd" experience! We're both excited and can't wait to grab our first bud in celebration. It's a Sweet Caroline day, sweet, oh so sweet

ha ha ha... i was at the royals game last night when I called you. it's like you were vacation at the cayman islands and I was calling you from stockton lake.
If only I'd been to the cayman islands I'd know what you're talking about, ha ha. Sorry I was pretty short with you when ya called...the people in front of us and the kid beside me were about as annoying as you can possibly imagine. From girls getting up constantly, to them standing when everyone's shouting to sit down, to the kid yelling at me to pass down 5 bucks and kicking me all night...on top of losing to the yankees - frustrating night. But, a good experience - assuming KC lost too...do we ever win?
ha ha ha... that's funny cause I thought I was rude to you! Neither of us were rude, we just accomplished the purpose of the conversation and kept the formalities short and sweet. Nothing wrong with that.
Did KC lose? Depends on who you ask. The game I saw, KC won. 5-3 at the top of the 8th. We left because, as my dad put it, "It won't get any better than this." He is a smart man. They ended up losing 8-5. How does that even happen in a game where 4 of the 5 points were home runs? That's right. 4 home runs in one night. Oh well. At least it was fun. :)
