Sometimes it's hard to say goodbye to a friend, especially when they are such an encouragement to your faith and outlook on the little things in your life. It's been a long time since I talked with my friend but sometimes these things are for the best - I once heard that time has a magnificent healing power. I suppose only time will tell if that one was right...kinda ironic I suppose. Whether you are moving on from friends because life goes that way or because it is best to say goodbye - it is always difficult to let go of a relationship that makes a huge difference in your life. I think about this baptism from time to time. I loved when my friend stepped forward for this moment because I gotta see it from the beginning to this point. I have rarely felt this kind of love for someone - I was so genuinely happy, all I could think about was the joy in her heart. I guess you never really say goodbye when you continue to pray for each other, in this way my love for all my friends and thier love for me will connect us forever.
