I rented this movie last night. I found it very interesting though I'm slightly going to get into it very much. It's always interesting to see everyone as real people, not as celebrities, preachers, low class, high class, cool, dork, rich, poor, etc. but rather as just yourself - your mistakes, failures, successes, passions, and love. A very well put together documentary in terms of content and presentation - worth a look. I will probably buy it someday...here's a little tupac for you
IN THE EVENT OF MY DEMISE
In the event of my Demise
when my heart can beat no more
I Hope I Die For A Principle
or A Belief that I had Lived 4
I will die Before My Time
Because I feel the shadow's Depth
so much I wanted 2 accomplish
before I reached my Death
I have come 2 grips with the possibility
and wiped the last tear from My eyes
I Loved All who were Positive
In the event of my Demise

"Fear is stronger than love"
I don't like this quote because it hurts. Things that hurt make one defensive...and this quote hurts and like most things in this world it hurts because there are so many instances where it is true. Look at our history, we are a beatuiful and ugly people.
Here's the rest of the idea...
On a whole, I don't have any friends. Friends come and go; I've lost my trust factor. I believe I have people who think they're my friends. And believe that there are people probably in their heart are friendly towards me or are friends to me. But they're not my friends because what I learned is that fear is stronger than love. So soon as somebody scarier comes along, they won't be my friend anymore. I learned that on the floor at Times Square--so I don't have friends, I have family. You're either my all the way family or just somebody on the outside.
There will come a day that love will overcome all fears. Lord I love you
