Happy Birthday My Friend - though I cannot be in Chicago to celebrate with you...and though I cannot send you a wig...and though I cannot even give you a card - this makes up for it all!! at least, well no really it shouldn't. I wanted to surprise you with a trip out there, but due to a lack of funds from traveling all over the last few weeks...no could do. None the less, you have now joined the ranks of us 24 year olds. Congratulations, today is the first day of the rest of your life. You will never be exactly this age again. Remember...you can spend all the money you've ever made - and then earn it back somehow - But, you can never earn back time you've lost. Make the best of it - expect a call from me friend. Happy Bday to a guy who would stick by, even though I know there were times with me and A that you didn't want to, when no one else would. It's been a great fifteen years...is that right? Well, I needed to add this little part - I made a slight miscalculation on my days...which really through me off - I thought today was the 14th...which would now explain why we couldn't pick our checks up on Friday (since they go out on the fifteenth I thought they'd be ready on Friday like usual). I found this out as I called Searc this morning and he said, "my bday isn't till Monday officially." I tried to play it off but I was confused - surely his bday isn't on the 16th, how did I mix that up? Well, luckily I didn't - I'm just an idiot who needs to flip his calender over and check the date once in a while. Probably also means that the date on all my 5th graders work on Friday is a bit off too...."ugh freakin idiot!"
