"Not a lot...just a little bit"

Some Floaties

I told Ladson that if I blogged about this weekend, this would make the title. It seemed to be the signaute saying of the weekend... or at least one night, between several of us. I gotta give props to 50 cent, since he wrote it...you know, "not a lot, just a little bit." I went on a retreat this weekend and most of the pictures are from there - the lake was much busier at one time, so I waited to get some good clear water shots...not too bad of an experience. It's late here but I wanted everyone to know things are going very well, meeting new people, got to see Mike P tonight, and am just laying low going to bed at a semi decent hour. I will attempt to post for real in a few days to tell you about my first two weeks and beginning of work...
in the meantime here are some pictures to prove I'm meeting people and surviving - really, I had to pay everyone to be in these, does that still count as friends?
This is us getting out there and setting things up
Room, getting there...

the smile on your face in the last picture looks like the same smile I had on my face when elisa, heather, andrea, and I were all on the couch and you layed across us to take a picture. what had just happened to make you smile like that?
i was more concerned about the picture titled "score!" as it loaded i saw you bent over with a smile on your face and some guy standing behind you... then i saw the tickets, and indeed, score! your off the hook for now as far as posts go. thanks for the update. you look like you're really enjoying yourself. i'll call you before i leave. much love my brother.
yes much fun...actually beej - we took a picture before that but I looked away, probably at a girl or something, then the guy taking the picture said something to make me laugh...and he caught the next one in my real smile and laugh phase, verses, the fake smile and laugh phase
hey, wasn't yesterday your first day of classes? how's it going big dog? i think i'm canceling my cell phone today so if you want to get ahold of me you'll have to call the house or email me.
remember, the class has to respect you so what you need to do is find the biggest kid in the grade and make an example of him. something that will make his mother cry when she sees what you've done. nothing keeps small kids in line like fear.
BJ: you can't talk about that picture!! Every time I look at it, I hear your voice and YOU know what it's saying. Ty-fy: glad you are having so much fun. It looks like things couldn't be better for you, and you deserve the best. love, me
