Half Marathon
It is finished, more to come but my pace was 9:20 with a completed finish time of 2 hours and 2 minutes. Decent, for no training, next time we'll see if I can up my game. My legs feel like lead...I'm no longer twenty two but I feel pretty decent, and I desperately wish I had tomorrow off, but back to the grind stone!

Hey Congrats.. I'm so proud of you for doing this. Why does your face look all dirty?
love,
mom
good work, good work. although 9:20? you should probably come up with another reason apart from this whole "not trained" excuse. Excuses are for pansies.
how did your shoes hold up?
Three blisters, not too bad...and some extremely sore knees and calves. Oh, you go run 13 miles this next weekend with a pace quicker than 9:20 and we'll talk. Until then, "whatever..."
Yeah, that's awesome. And forget BJ! I think that's a great pace for a first half-marathon and not having trained. would love to hear more about it!
Congrats! I think that's awesome! And forget Beej. That's a great time for a first half-marathon, new shoes, and no training. I personally think you kicked butt. would love to hear more about it.
sorry about the past two repetitive comments. I thought it was a computer malfunction, I didn't know I had to be preapproved. What's up with that Ty?
Well, hellooo tyler!! CONGRATULATIONS!! I'm proud of you! You're MY favorite pansy!!
Ali, it's ashame I have to approve comments but there are some of us out there who write words beginning with a "P" have an "S" in the middle and end with a "Y" and aren't flattering...you'll have to ask Elisa. But, I've had in the past some random comments shown up so I keep some tight reigns just in case.
All comments about Elisa are here and now taken back...I misinterpreted what she meant, cool E, cool! Oh, and you can be my pansy anytime. B-s you can be mine!
Great Job!! You really turned in a great time with no training. I know all about knee pain. Take some advil and apply some heat.
Love Dad.
Well oh brother of mine with no training.. I think its pretty gutsy of you to go out there and run that hard with nothing but a new pair of shoes. Along with your legs hurting does your lower back hurt from the pavement? Mine does everytime and I hate it. Maybe it is because I am used to running faster because I am always being chased. Talk to you later bro but good time and I wish you luck on the next adventure you do. - Your Brother Mike
Nice Job Ty. So did the shoes have any factor in your time at all? I just baught some Rebocks for about 30 bones. I'm thinking they'll last me for my running season or two. So you seeing a lot in Boston? I'm just getting a taste of Seattle and it's a great town. It doesn't rain all the time.
Ha! I forgot my password. Nutts!
Who's that guy in the half-marathon picture with you, Ty? He looks pretty hot (and single...) :)
tyler, i've suddenly been denied all access to my blog! I can't even view it! It says that I am not authorized to view the page. sad. will you help me? ppllllllllleeeeeeeeaaassssssssseeeeeeeee???
oh yeah. the anonymous wasn't my comment. I saw that you called but tried to call you back and you didn't answer. check your voice mail if you haven't already.
Tyler: You look great. You should run all the time. How did the new shoes work out? I am so proud of you. Go for it.

I agree with the anonymous poster... the guy in the picture with you at the top is cute. And oddly, he looks like Dylan. You should hook BJ or I up (with him, not each other). Of course, I think BJ's got her own accelerating social life right now... and you'll soon see an update on mine...
Is that Eric Larson or Brad Pitt in your title picture on the 20th of March? Also in regards to inappropriate comments, did I write you any? Well if not: Dude! People can see your package! Way to go Muscles. You look like you have some energy still in you. Did you give it your all? Brett and I have to meet and run the mile. I’m curious to know what my time will be. Then maybe I’ll run a ½ marathon just like you. Everyone wants to be like Tyler.
Dang Skippy - everyone wants to be me! and really isn't the question what would Tyler Anderson do?
It's from fight club...gotta up your game friend. Any news on tickets?
um... so I did my taxes. Sorry, friend. Definitely not going to have enough moolah to come next weekend to be your arm candy. maybe next time.... (if I ever start to act more responsibly...)
